Harrison (The Friendly Village) is conveniently located half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains. Also, the Naples Causeway, with it many attractions is short drive from Big Woods.

Wildlife in area include deer, bear, moose, bobcat, lynx, coyote, fox, partridge, ducks, geese, woodcock, and turkey.
